5 Create four Organisational Units with a user in each.

Steps 5 and 7 required us to create four OU's with a user in each OU. An Organizational Unit is a grouping of related objects within a domain. To create one is quite simple. Click start > Administrative tools > Active Directory Users and Computers. Right click on the domain, point to new, and Organizational Unit.

Type in the name of the OU to be created. It's up to you whether to protect from accidental deletion.

To create a user for the OU, Right click the OU that the user is to go into, scroll to new, and then click user.

Fill out the details of the user.

Enter a password for the user to log in with, and allow the password to be changed at the next log in.

Check all the details of the created user to make sure no mistakes were made, then click finish when done.
